KAPPA AIR

Kappa Air is a machine designed to fold medium and large-sized items such as sheets, blankets, draw-sheets, bedspreads, tablecloths, table overlays, and honeycomb bath towels.

KAPPA MECHANICAL

Kappa Mechanical is a machine designed to fold large and medium-sized flat linen, such as sheets, blankets, draw-sheets, tablecloth, table overlays and honeycomb bath towels

  • Longitudinal folds made with a reverse belt system that ensures excellent fold quality
  • Transverse folds carried out by blades and reverse conveyor belts
  • Up to three centered longitudinal folds (to be specified when ordering)
  • Automatic speed variation based on ironing speed
  • Integrated bypass, allowing easy passage of unfolded items to a rear table or any connected machines
  • Fixed exit table
  • Touch-screen operator panel
  • PLC control system
  • In the STANDARD version, stacker and counterfold are not included

All Options

The machine can be equipped with the third longitudinal fold to complete the folding cycle. It is usually requested when the garment sizes are so large that they require a more comprehensive folding. The third longitudinal fold allows for three longitudinal folds, so the final measurement of the folded piece will be slightly more than 1/8 of its initial length. The addition of this accessory allows the machine to be used with the two-fold configuration at all times.

The longitudinal fold bypass is an essential accessory when the operator needs to discharge laundry on the rear side of the machine without performing any folds. This accessory is absolutely required when small item collectors are installed on the rear side of the machine.

The reject laundry accessory is a tool that allows the operator to signal to the machine that the garment is either soiled or torn. This ensures that the item is rejected on the front side without being folded, making it easily recognizable by the operator. It is not automatic: 3 buttons at the line entrance in the case of a 3-lane machine, with 3 photocells, an encoder bar to measure line speed, cable sheaths.

This conveyor belt is designed to facilitate the efficient movement of rejected items through the processing system or out of the production process. Rejected items can be directed for inspection or further corrective processes, or they can be removed from the main production flow.

A sort of trough, as long as the machine itself, designed to collect rejected items, preventing them from falling to the ground.

These wheels can be adjusted or oriented in different directions to facilitate the mobility and maneuverability of the machinery.

This accessory allows for the simultaneous use of 3 working lanes, but in this configuration, garments can only be folded longitudinally, and the piece collection takes place on the rear side of the machine.

Operator control panel series HME07, 7″ screen, to be positioned at the beginning of the ironing line to modify programs and manage alarms. Provided with Ethernet LAN10/100 connection (software for production data processing and remote services management in line with Industry 4.0 directive not included).
